Job summary

Uline, a leading North American distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, seeks a Director of Distribution Operations. You will lead from the warehouse floor, coaching teams and driving excellence across inbound, outbound and supporting departments in a 2.5+ million sq ft operation.

Relocation assistance is available. The role commands a salary from $260,000 to $350,000 per year and requires experience managing 400+ staff with a strong KPI and WMS background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years leading high‑volume distribution operations.
• Direct leadership of warehouse managers and teams of 400+ people.
• Experience improving productivity, quality and safety.
• Experience with KPIs and WMS implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the warehouse floor with daily coaching.
• Direct day‑to‑day warehouse operations across inbound/outbound support.
• Coach warehouse managers to lead 500+ employees with hands‑on leadership.
• Drive operational excellence and same‑day shipping.
• Investigate challenges and implement data‑driven improvements.
