Job summary

Uline is seeking a Director of Distribution Operations to lead one of North America's largest distribution centers from the warehouse floor. You will coach and develop warehouse leaders, drive operational excellence, and ensure same-day shipping where feasible while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the warehouse floor, working alongside employees to ensure high levels of accuracy, productivity and safety.
• Direct all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and supporting departments.
• Coach and develop warehouse managers who lead a team of 500+ employees through daily feedback and hand-on leadership.
• Drive operational excellence through accountability and continuous improvement to deliver industry-leading service and same-day shipping.
• Investigate operational challenges, remove barriers and implement practical, data-driven improvements that strengthen warehouse performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years leading high-volume distribution operations, including direct leadership of warehouse managers and teams of 400+ people.
• Proven success improving productivity, quality and safety through operational leadership.
• Experience leading with KPIs, performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
