Job summary

Zaxby’s Franchising LLC is seeking a senior distribution and logistics leader to drive enterprise strategy across the restaurant network. You will own end-to-end distribution from supplier to restaurant, lead distributor partnerships, and optimize inventory, forecasting, and service levels.

You will collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to ensure market readiness for new products and promotions, while managing 3PL relationships and driving cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 7–10 years of progressive distribution/logistics experience.
• 5+ years leading teams and distributor/3PL relationships.
• Experience negotiating distribution agreements and cost-to-serve tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise distribution and logistics strategy for the Zaxby’s restaurant network.
• Own end-to-end distribution performance from supplier ship point through distributor warehousing and restaurant delivery.
• Lead relationships with distributor partners and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee distributor inventory, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns.
• Ensure launch readiness for new products, packaging changes, and market tests.
• Manage final mile distribution economics including rate negotiations and cost-to-serve transparency.
• Oversee middle mile freight from manufacturer to DC and carrier performance.
• Support new markets by validating DC capacity and routing models.
• Monitor KPIs like on-time delivery, fill rate, and order accuracy.
• Lead resolution of distribution disruptions and supply risks.
• Build governance for distributor agreements and SOPs.
• Prepare executive reporting on network performance and savings initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing distribution team.
