Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), or equivalent.
• Eligibility for faculty appointment at Clinical Assistant Professor level or higher.
• At least seven years of professional veterinary experience.
• Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in a U.S. state or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Demonstrated veterinary leadership and supervisory experience.
• Ability to manage complex programs with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for quality and development of distributed veterinary clinical education.
• Develop and evaluate clinical experiences in collaboration with faculty, veterinarians, and partners.
• Lead and train preceptors, ensuring clinical teaching quality and safety.
• Supervise the DVTP Program Coordinator and Clinical Relations Veterinarians; oversee program operations.
• Maintain relationships with affiliated clinical partners and stakeholders to ensure varied clinical learning opportunities.
• Support ongoing assessment of student performance and program improvements.
• Contribute to clinical-year curriculum development and program administration.
