Job summary

NYC Alliance Company LLC is seeking a dynamic Director of Discount Sales to lead our discount apparel segment and drive revenue growth in New York. You will build and execute sales strategies, mentor a team, and expand relationships with retailers and distributors.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in sales, 5+ years in leadership, and a strong background in discount retail and women's better apparel. MBA is a plus and a data-driven, customer-focused mindset is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant sales experience
• 5+ years in a managerial capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus
• Proficient in retail management software and CRM systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the better discount product line.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
• Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key retailers, distributors, and partners.
• Analyze consumer trends, market data, and competitive landscape to shape strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained across all discount sales interactions.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the sales team.
• Stay informed about industry changes and emerging trends in discount retail.
