Bentley Commons at Lynchburg is seeking an experienced Food Service Director to lead the community's dining program on-site. The role oversees daily dining operations, menu planning, quality control, staffing, sanitation, budgeting, purchasing, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

The candidate should balance hospitality with operational discipline, lead a team of cooks, servers, and support staff, and collaborate with nursing and wellness teams to meet dietary needs and preferences

Qualifikationen

• Experience in managing Dining Services in assisted living, senior living, or healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
• Experience supervising and scheduling dining staff.
• Ability to manage food and labor costs, inventory, purchasing, and budgeting.
• Proven leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee all daily Dining Services operations.
• Lead and support cooks, servers, dishwashers, and dining staff.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time meeting quality standards.
• Plan menus aligned with resident preferences and dietary needs.
• Coordinate with nursing and Wellness teams on resident diets and allergies.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and respond to dining feedback.
• Develop special menus, holiday meals and dining events.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving and storage.
