Job summary

Aramark seeks a General Manager to plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services for a client, typically generating $2-15M+ in revenue, to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.

Depending on the client, services can include food service, facility support, custodial services, retail, lodging, transportation, and more. Our General Managers are capable operations managers who lead a team to provide excellent service to our clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education preferred in relevant field.
• Ability to manage client relations and grow business within contract terms.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and senior management.
• Experience reading and implementing contractual requirements to address issues.
• Proven experience in service industry or contract services.
• Proven ability to lead through other managers.
• Experience creating and managing department budgets and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team providing operational expertise in contracted services and hands-on execution of operations.
• Manages client and community relationships at the location and drives satisfaction.
• Builds and leads a management team to carry out organizational objectives.
• Recommends methods and resources for service improvement and growth based on contractual obligations.
• Partner with Finance to manage a budget and design improvements for financial performance.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Aramark policies.
