Job summary

HCA Florida West Hospital, located in Pensacola, FL, seeks a Director of Diagnostic Imaging to lead Radiology, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and related services. The role collaborates with COO and Imaging leadership to drive quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care in a busy, full-service hospital setting.

The position requires strategic oversight, staff coaching, and up-to-date knowledge of diagnostic imaging technologies to support growth and exceptional outcomes for patients and communities

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree or higher required

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department including Radiology, Ultrasound, MRI, IR, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, CT and related support services
• Coordinate with supervisors to coach staff, communicate procedural changes, and address department issues
• Assess equipment needs, manage warranties and vendor contracts, and stay current with imaging technologies and growth opportunities
