Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) seeks a Director of Radiology to oversee Radiology, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Special Procedures, MRI and related services. The role carries 24‑hour accountability for staff and operations, in alignment with established standards of care.

The candidate will lead clinical and non-clinical teams, collaborate with hospital leadership, and advance service excellence in a high-quality, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 5-8 years' Radiology experience.
• 5-8 years' Healthcare Management experience required.
• Formal radiological training completed in an approved school.
• Registered by ARRT and Florida state licensure.
• Knowledge of State regulations and Radioactive Materials license.
• Certified in at least one Imaging modality, preferably Radiology.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Diagnostic Radiology, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and MRI operations.
• Ensure 24-hour responsibility for personnel and operations.
• Develop, monitor and evaluate standards of care and practice.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and committees.
• Promote service excellence and cross-department collaboration.
