Job summary

Fort Greene Park Conservancy seeks a collaborative Director of Development to join the senior leadership and lead all fundraising across income streams. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role will steward donor relationships and drive the $1.5 million annual contributed revenue goal while supervising development staff, interns, and volunteers.

The position emphasizes strategy, external engagement with funders and partners, and a commitment to equity in Fort Greene Park.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years’ experience in fundraising management at a comparable nonprofit.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and G-Suite Apps required.
• Success in growing individual giving and diversifying donor bases preferred.
• Proven ability to secure six-figure grants and contributions preferred.
• Exceptional writing skills are essential.
• Strong project management and organizational skills desired.
• Experience interacting with diverse stakeholders with cultural competency.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to FGPC’s long-term strategic direction by developing a community-driven multi-year fundraising plan.
• Develop and track fundraising metrics; share data with the Executive Director and Board.
• Oversee development staff and oversee annual giving campaigns and major initiatives.
