Job summary

Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home in El Paso, Texas seeks a Director of Development to advance fundraising, donor engagement, and visibility. You will drive major gifts, oversee community relations, and manage events and volunteers to support organizational growth.

The role leads an $18M capital campaign, partners with the CEO and Board, and focuses on strategic donor stewardship and fundraising operations to sustain long-term impact for children and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional fundraising experience.
• Proven success securing five and six-figure gifts.
• Deep donor cultivation, stewardship, and data-informed practices.
• Experience managing fundraising events and campaigns.
• Ability to translate mission into compelling funding opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of donors and prospects with focus on major gifts.
• Lead and execute an $18M capital campaign.
• Oversee community relations, public relations, and volunteers.
• Plan donor events and site tours to engage supporters.
