Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of five years of fundraising, nonprofit development, relationship management, sales, marketing, or related experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience engaging volunteers, donors, or community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Council’s annual giving program and fundraising campaigns.
• Develop strategies to increase donor participation and annual fund revenue.
• Coordinate volunteer fundraising efforts and leadership giving initiatives.

Position Overview

The Greater St. Louis Area Scouting is seeking a dynamic Director of Development, Annual Giving & Stewardship to lead key fundraising and donor engagement initiatives. This role is responsible for growing annual giving, strengthening donor relationships, and ensuring supporters remain connected to the life-changing impact of Scouting. The position serves as a fundraising specialist focused on annual campaigns, donor stewardship, donor communications, and volunteer engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and grow the Council’s annual giving program and fundraising campaigns.
