Job summary

Surrey Services seeks a Director of Development and Engagement to advance its mission and long-term sustainability. Qualifications

• Senior fundraising professional with a track record in nonprofit development.
• Ability to cultivate and steward donor relationships with individuals, corporations and partners.
• Experience leading donor meetings and gift solicitations at senior levels.

Job description

The Director of Development and Engagement (DOD) is a senior fundraising professional responsible for advancing Surrey Services' mission and long-term sustainability.

As an active, externally focused fundraiser, the DOD will build and manage a strong donor portfolio; cultivate relationships with individuals, corporations and community partners; and personally lead donor meetings and gift solicitiations.

The DOD also leads Surrey's fundraising events, using them strategically to generate revenue, cultivate and steward donors, and strengthen community enagagement.

The DOD will expand Surrey's philanthropic presence and build partnerships across Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties to strengthen programs and support long-term sustainability.
