Job summary

LIV Recovery in St. Louis, MO seeks a Director of Development to lead fundraising and donor engagement, expanding capacity to deliver recovery services.

You will build strategies, cultivate donor relationships, and translate outcomes into compelling proposals to sustain impactful programs. Collaborating with leadership, you will use data to guide decisions, ensure ethical fundraising, and promote dignity and inclusion in all engagement efforts with communities served.

Qualifications

  • Experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor cultivation, stewardship, and grant writing.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze information, meet deadlines, and communicate progress clearly.
  • Knowledge of fundraising strategies, donor management systems, and ethical fundraising practices.
  • Commitment to respectful, inclusive, and person-centered language and engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree and relevant certifications preferred.
