Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Director for the Developer Platform to lead our global developer experience efforts and shape the integration journey for thousands of developers worldwide.

You will own the public APIs, SDKs, and documentation, reduce developer friction, and build tools to enable effortless platform integration at scale. This leadership role requires strong engineering background, strategic vision, and a customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

7+ years of technical experience, including significant tenure as a hands-on software engineer.
3+ years of experience in manager of managers roles while maintaining deep technical literacy

Responsibilities

Define and execute the vision for the Developer Experience domain, aligning with company goals and developer community needs.
Maintain high-quality standards across all integration-related products, ensuring consistency and simplicity.
Advocate for developers by enhancing usability, reliability, and efficiency in integrations, APIs, and tools.
Lead and grow a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing multi-disciplinary team across subdomains such as webhooks, API quality, integration SDKs, developer relations, tooling.
Drive the adoption of common principles to streamline integration processes and deliver developer tools and documentation.
Be the evangelist in the developer community through conferences, articles, and thought leadership.
