Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate to create and evolve developer documentation for our APIs, design sample apps, and improve our tech resources. You will distill complex topics for a broad developer audience and help demonstrate integrations through demos and tutorials.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing to deliver a best-in-class developer experience, grow our community, and translate external feedback into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Developer Relations, Advocacy, or related roles, or mix of roles in technical fields.
• Ability to write clear, idiomatic code in at least one backend language and one frontend language.
• Experience building sample apps and technical demos.
• Experience writing high-quality developer documentation from scratch.
• Ability to learn and explain new technologies clearly.
• Strong developer empathy and ability to engage with developer communities.
• Experience leveraging generative AI to accelerate content while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Create and evolve developer documentation for APIs, improving clarity and usability.
• Design and build sample applications, demos, and tutorials that showcase API integrations.
• Maintain developer resources including Postman collections and the docs site.
• Advocate for developers by translating needs into product and documentation insights.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing to enhance the developer experience.
