Based in New York, you will guide architecture decisions across the trading stack, drive innovation, and ensure production code quality while aligning with regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with EDG eTrading leadership and business stakeholders to build a robust, scalable global exchange connectivity platform, balancing in-house development with selective vendor integration.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• 5+ years leading technologists to solve complex technical items within your domain and across the organization.
• Deep knowledge of C++ design, testing, and production stability.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong technical guidance and direction to support the business and its teams.
• Form partnerships with derivatives, cash, and wider groups to map technology synergies.
• Ensure solutions comply with global regulatory reporting, surveillance, and control mandates.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others’ work.
• Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more focus areas and promote firmwide frameworks.
