Job summary

HD Supply in Atlanta seeks a Director of Decision Analytics to lead the development and execution of the business unit's intelligence and network strategy. You will oversee BI systems, optimization techniques, and data-driven insights to boost profitability.

You will partner with senior leaders to implement advanced reporting, manage budgets, and ensure data quality while guiding cross-functional teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering or closely related field; 8 years of experience as a decision analyst or similar.
• 5 years experience with distribution network optimization.
• 5 years experience in management/supervisory capacity involving decision analytics.
• 5 years experience in operations research and optimization modeling.
• Experience with advanced data analytics tools and databases related to financial data, P&L statements and sales forecasts.
• Experience aggregating large volumes of operational, financial and customer data for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute business intelligence and network strategy.
• Oversee the implementation and administration of BI systems, tools, and optimization techniques.
• Work with senior leaders to identify and implement advanced data reporting capabilities.
• Leverage data sources to identify key business improvement opportunities.
• Develop and manage unit and project budgets.
• Maintain responsibility for data quality initiatives.
• Lead direct reports and cross-functional teams.
