Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Director of Data Science to lead the NV Consumer analytics program, shaping how success is measured and how data informs product and operations. You will build a high‑performing team and scalable frameworks to accelerate decision making across cross‑functional partners.

You will report to a Senior Director on the NV Analytics team, driving impact at scale within a fast‑growing business unit and a startup‑like environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Science, Analytics, or related quantitative field with leadership experience.
• Ability to define metrics, build decision frameworks, and influence strategy in ambiguous environments.
• Hands-on fluency in SQL and statistical analysis; lead while operating at leadership level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of data science and analytics leaders across a portfolio from 0→1 to high-traffic surfaces.
• Own analytical direction for NV Consumer, including goal formulation and measurement frameworks.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Strategy & Operations, Design, and Finance to influence product roadmap and investment decisions.
• Build data foundations and AI-enabled tooling to democratize data access and decision-making.
