Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking three senior data scientists for US Data Science to build AI-enabled pricing evaluations and accelerate product rollout. You will partner with pricing, delivery, and technology teams to quantify value and risk of AI systems, including LLMs, ensuring robust production deployment and governance.

You will contribute pricing expertise, prototype evaluation tooling, and collaborate across lines of business to optimize pricing programs while advancing responsible AI

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying insurance pricing models.
• Strong expertise in model evaluation, statistics, and experimental design.
• Strong coding skills (e.g., Python) and a track record of shipping data science solutions.
• Recent hands-on experience with modern LLMs and agentic coding/Wide AI applications.
• Experience evaluating generative AI or agentic systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills across business, delivery, and tech teams.
• Resilient, curious, and committed to high standards.

• Build state-of-the-art evaluations for AI and agentic applications; define metrics and ground truth.
• Measure value and risk of AI applications; quantify impact on time to market.
• Translate business needs into evaluation criteria and requirements.
• Prototype and build evaluation tooling and AI applications to accelerate rollout.
