Job summary

Ross Stores seeks a Director, Assortment Management to lead the analysis and execution of assortment strategies for their assigned team, aligning with Merchant leaders to develop an allocation approach that provides the optimal product mix for customers.

You will lead a data-driven team and translate broad Merchant priorities into actionable levers, communicating clearly with internal partners and executive leaders.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in Allocation, Planning, Merchandising, or related retail function
• 5+ years of experience leading, building and developing a team
• Demonstrated ability to translate merchandising strategies into actionable assortment frameworks

Responsibilities

• Meet with Merchants and Planning partners to drive Product strategies.
• Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities and provide solutions for store assortments.
• Lead Manager teams to translate Merchant strategies into Allocation levers.
• Drive cross-department communication to ensure accurate execution of assortment strategies and business objectives.
• Communicate with Merchants and Partners to establish and achieve assortment goals.
