Job summary

Orpine Inc. is seeking a Director of Data and Digital to lead digital guest experiences and enterprise data platforms. You will guide ecommerce, online ordering, loyalty, mobile, and data analytics, reporting to the CTO and joining the IT leadership team.

This role integrates marketing, finance, and operations to drive data‑driven decisions. You will manage vendor relationships, build a high‑performing team, and shape roadmaps across platforms while delivering reliable, scalable technology with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/related field or equivalent
• 8–12 years of progressive technology leadership experience
• Experience leading digital product, data, analytics or platform teams
• Strong understanding of digital commerce platforms and online ordering
• Data engineering, pipeline architecture, modeling, analytics, BI platform knowledge
• Experience managing external development & analytics partners
• Experience with budgets, vendor contracts, and roadmaps
• Ability to present technical roadmaps to executives and stakeholders
• Experience with POS systems is required

Responsibilities

• Lead technology roadmap for ecommerce, online ordering, loyalty and mobile
• Own integrations quality across platforms (Toast, Revel, Paytronix, Braintree, ezCater)
• Oversee digital guest experience for high-volume channels
• Define enterprise data strategy; architecture, pipelines, BI tooling, reporting
• Build and manage data platform for Operations, Marketing and Finance
• Lead digital and data team; hiring, development, performance, succession
• Set delivery standards, operating cadence, budgets, vendor management
• Communicate progress, risks and priorities to senior leadership
• Represent function at executive level in CTO's absence
• Maintain momentum with limited resources and competing priorities
