Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corp is seeking a Director of Cyber Trust & Architecture to provide enterprise leadership for cybersecurity architecture, IAM strategy, Zero Trust, and secure-by-design practices. This role reports to the CISO and shapes target-state architecture across hybrid environments.

The position requires 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in management, US citizenship, and a strong track record in enterprise IAM, cloud and network security, and governance.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required due to DoD restrictions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity/IT experience with enterprise strategy.
• 5+ years of management/people leadership experience.
• Strong depth across identity, cloud, network, app, and data security domains.
• Experience developing or governing enterprise IAM capabilities (authentication, authorization, MFA).
• Ability to translate complex control gaps into business risk and remediation plans.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain WPS’s enterprise cybersecurity architecture strategy and target-state architecture.
• Lead the enterprise IAM strategy and governance, maturing least privilege and identity governance.
• Establish cybersecurity architecture governance and secure-by-design review processes.
• Set cybersecurity architecture principles and standards for cloud, network, data, and emerging tech including AI/ML.
• Lead development and phased implementation of Zero Trust architecture across identity, devices, apps, and networks.
• Build and mentor a high-performing Cyber Trust & Architecture team.
