Job summary

SCA Health in the United States is seeking a Principal Architect – Security to lead the enterprise security architecture and risk management across its ASC network. You will partner with leadership to design secure-by-design IT strategies, embed security into architecture decisions, and drive Threat modeling and Zero Trust initiatives.

You will own identity and access management architecture, oversee data protection for PHI/PII, and guide security governance with executives and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8-10+ years in security architecture and engineering.
• Healthcare security/ HIPAA, HITRUST knowledge.
• TOGAF/SABSA framework knowledge; certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise security architecture blueprint and roadmap.
• Align security with business objectives and risk appetite.
• Lead ARB security reviews and sign-offs.
• Define identity governance and zero-trust designs.
• Architect data protection for PHI/PII and key management.
• Mentor IT staff and communicate security concepts to executives.
