Job summary

Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is seeking a Director of Contract and Customized Training to lead the design, sale, delivery, and financial performance of customized training for employers across the PVCC service region. This in-person role reports to the Executive Director of Workforce Development and Corporate Partnerships and oversees contract execution, delivery, and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Executive Director to build and manage a pipeline of employer prospects across the PVCC service region.
• Conduct consultative needs assessments with employers to identify skill gaps and translate findings into training solutions.
• Represent contract and corporate training at employer events, industry roundtables, and regional partnership meetings.
• Negotiate and draft training agreements defining scope, deliverables, schedule, pricing and performance measures.
• Route agreements through college review in line with the Virginia Public Procurement Act and college procedures.
• Monitor contract compliance, resolve issues, and document changes through amendments.
