Middlesex Cricket invites a Director of Cricket to lead the long‑term cricket strategy across Men’s and Women’s teams, Player Pathway and elite facilities. You will shape the cricket agenda, align with financial and operational plans, and build a high‑performance environment with senior coaches and staff at Lord’s and across North London.

You will recruit, retain and manage contracts, oversee overseas players, and work closely with the Chief Executive, Board and ECB to deliver results on and off

Qualificações

• 10+ years’ experience in professional or elite cricket.
• Experience developing senior coaches and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience turning long‑term performance plans into results on the field.
• Understanding of player recruitment and pathway to professional cricket.
• Sound financial judgement and experience working with a Chief Executive, a Board, and committees.
• Clear commitment to safeguarding, player welfare, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
• Knowledge of ECB structures and the County Partnership Agreement would be helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Shaping the long‑term cricket strategy and aligning with the club’s financial, commercial and operational plans.
• Building a high‑performance environment with staff and players, prioritising welfare.
• Overseeing player recruitment, retention and contracts, including overseas strategy, within budget and ECB/PCA rules.
• Collaborating with head coaches to manage the cricket department budget and investment cases for people, facilities and equipment.
• Workforce and succession planning across playing, coaching and performance staff.
• Developing a long‑term facilities strategy with venue partners and reporting to the Chief Executive and Board.
