Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is partnering with a long-time client in the retail service space to fill a Director of Accounting. The role reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and offers room for growth with a couple of direct reports.

The ideal candidate has CPA status, 7+ years in corporate accounting (including audit), and experience with mid-to-large companies. Hybrid work is available (1 day on-site per week after training), plus a bonus plan, 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Foundational or current public accounting experience within audit.
• CPA certification required.
• Experience in mid to large sized companies.
• Includes annual bonus.
• Hybrid work: 1 day per week after training.
• 401(k) with immediate 100% vesting match.
• Paid time off (PTO).

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2 staff in Corporate Accounting.
• Liaise with external auditors.
• Manage ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Ensure SOX compliance.
• Perform consolidations.

This role will report to the Chief Accounting Officer, will have room for growth, and a couple direct reports. A public accounting background in Audit and a CPA is ideal here.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of 2 within Corporate Accounting
• Liaise with Auditors
• ASC842 Lease Accounting
• Ensure SOX Compliance
• Consolidations

Requirements:

• 7+ years’ progressive corporate accounting experience
• Foundational or current public accounting experience within audit
• CPA
• Mid to large company experience
• Annual bonus
• Hybrid 1 day a week once trained and settled
• 401(k) with match, immediately 100% vested
