Job summary
GHX is seeking a Director of Content Engineering to lead the technology organization for the Content Engineering portfolio, including Content Workbench, Price Workbench and Contract Management services. This role requires building geo distributed teams, delivering strategic roadmaps, and driving cloud-native SaaS systems with AI capabilities.
The ideal candidate has 15+ years in software engineering within SaaS, 7+ years in leadership, strong communication, and budget management skills to align
Qualifications
- 15+ years of Software Engineering experience in a SaaS environment.
- 7+ years' experience in an Engineering Leadership role.
- Experience managing large teams (40+ people) and scaling a business based on resources.
- Technical strength in cloud architectures, application architecture, engineering processes and SDLC.
- Experience with offshore development.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic direction, planning and execution for Content Engineering leaders and teams to deliver roadmaps.
- Bring deep domain expertise in Software Engineering, Data products, AI in SLDC and System architecture (Supply Chain domain preferred).
- Oversee cloud-based SaaS services, API & UI frameworks, and microservice architectures.
- Hands on experience with GenAI and Agentic Frameworks.
- Develop relationships with executives; communicate effectively; drive budget planning and forecast future technology practices.
