Job summary

City of Temple is seeking a Construction Services Division Director to develop, direct, and execute architectural construction projects and oversee the Project Management Team for Facility Services. This role requires directing project design through completion, ensuring high quality and cost efficiency within community needs.

The position emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and adherence to city policies and safety guidelines while coordinating with leadership on future project planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Four years of commercial building construction & renovation experience, including reading and interpreting drawings and understanding the full construction process.
• Three years in a managerial position.

Responsibilities

• Directs and executes architectural/MEP capital construction projects from design to completion, managing time, cost, and quality.
• Reviews drawings and specs for high quality, efficiency, and community needs.
• Oversees contracts, change orders, RFIs, and monthly performance reports.
