Job summary

SCI, the Leader in Real Estate Executive Search, is assisting a national industrial real estate investment company to hire a Director of Construction. The incoming Director will report to the National Head of Construction and oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects spanning the Eastern third of the country.

Ideal candidates will have GC/CM and/or developer experience and be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with industrial real estate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as director or senior PM in construction for GC/CM or developer.
• Industrial real estate experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive all aspects of project development from pre-construction to close-out.
• Visit sites and oversee contractors and consultants.
• Develop policies to improve project management.
• Plan, schedule, organize, and control industrial real estate construction projects (redevelopments, renovations, capital improvements).

Responsibilities Include:

• Driving all aspects of project development (from pre-construction to close-out).
• Visiting job sites and overseeing contractors and consultants.
• Developing policies and procedures to improve project management.
• Planning, scheduling, organizing, managing, and controlling a vareity of construction projects at industrial real estate properties including: redevelopments, renovations, capital improvements, and more.

Ideal Director candidates will have experience working for a GC/CM and/or developer and be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with industrial real estate is preferred.
