Director of Operations at The Hiring Advisors, LLC

Thriving CRE firm with national operations is expanding its development team with a Construction Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing industrial projects ranging from $500,000 to over $20M, including small renovations, extensive repositioning, and ground-up developments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage overall project/construction management services while collaborating with internal (leasing, property management, acquisitions, finance) and external (tenants) clients
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, consultants, vendors, and peers
• Lead project teams to ensure timely completion of project objectives
• Handle building permit submissions and follow up on issues
• Plan and submit revisions to municipalities
• Prepare contracts and MSAs for all disciplines (architects, engineers, general contractors)
• Coordinate with asset and property managers to facilitate construction management
• Assist with internal accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and yield analysis in partnership with finance
• Work cross-functionally with leasing to ensure timely completion of TI/CAPEX projects without impacting tenants (move-ins)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in construction and/or development (GC/subcontractor, property management, or owner rep)
• Ability to manage multiple projects (typically 2-3 assets)
• Experience with construction management processes specific to the industrial sector
• Strong understanding of industrial construction, including structural steel, concrete, MEP systems
• Proficiency in BlueBeam, ProCore, Yardi, and/or Buildertrend
