Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Ky., Inc. in Lexington, KY seeks a Director of Career Services to provide direct leadership to Opportunity Center Operations Manager(s) and to advance workforce development initiatives.

The role focuses on community engagement, relationship development with employers and partners, strategic planning, and reporting to leadership. Travel locally and regionally may be required to support partnerships and events.

• Experience engaging with business, nonprofit, civic, government, and educational partners.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to balance priorities.
• Ability to work independently and manage an active external meeting schedule.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and leadership of assigned Opportunity Center Operations Manager(s).
• Develop outreach strategies to increase community awareness and partnerships.
• Represent Goodwill in chambers, Rotary clubs, and other community networks.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, partners, and funders.
• Collaborate with leadership to align community engagement with Career Services goals and report results.
