The Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans seeks a visionary Community Relations Director to lead statewide initiatives in education, interfaith work, antisemitism prevention, and Israel engagement. The role centers on building partnerships, advocating for Jewish life, and strengthening civic voices in Louisiana.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in community relations or related fields.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders across sectors.
• Warm, personable presence with ability to quickly build trust.
• Willingness to travel throughout Louisiana, some evenings and weekends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentations and public speaking.
• Knowledge of Jewish history and the New Orleans Jewish community.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard communications tools.

Responsabilités

• Represent the Federation in coalitions, meetings, and public forums across Louisiana.
• Build relationships with elected officials, agencies, and policymakers at the State Capitol.
• Support the statewide antisemitism prevention framework and task force formation.
• Represent the Federation in interfaith security initiatives and advocacy.
• Develop and manage Israel trade missions and reverse missions.
• Monitor legislation and keep leadership informed.
