Chelsea Senior Living, a highly regarded senior living organization, is seeking a Director of Community Relations to join our Port Washington, NY team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with the local community, build relationships with seniors and their families, and contribute to the success of our luxury independent living community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Outreach & Networking: Cultivate relationships with referral sources, community partners, and professionals to drive occupancy goals.
2. Admissions & Tours: Guide prospects and families through the admission process, conduct tours, and assist with move-ins.
3. Event Planning: Plan and coordinate community outreach events, networking activities, and educational sessions.
4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Director and department heads to ensure a smooth transition for new residents and maintain high occupancy.
5. Lead Management: Maintain an up-to-date database of prospects, follow-up communications, and lead management.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in sales/marketing within the senior living or healthcare industry is a plus.
2. Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
3. Ability to work with families and residents in a sensitive and supportive manner.
4. Basic computer knowledge is required.
5. An upbeat and outgoing personality with a passion for helping others.
6. A valid NY driver’s license is required.
