Arizona Humane Society seeks a Director of Communications and Public Relations to lead the organization’s strategic communications, media relations, and executive messaging from our Papago Park Campus. The role drives brand, reputation, and fundraising communications, partnering with leadership to advance lifesaving missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or Marketing with a PR concentration.
• 8+ years of progressive communications/public relations experience, including strategic leadership.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead Our Communications Strategy: Develop and execute strategic communications initiatives that elevate the organization's brand and mission.
• Be a Trusted Advisor: Guide messaging with executive leadership and manage high-profile issues.
• Share Lifesaving Stories: Oversee media relations and storytelling to highlight the animal welfare work.
