Arizona Humane Society is seeking an Animal Assistance Coordinator to support daily operations of the Animal Assistance Department and mentor staff and volunteers at our Papago Park Campus. This full-time role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, ensuring a smooth, compassionate customer experience across all interactions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of customer service, and animal handling experience, with leadership and bilingual skills

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years providing exemplary customer service.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Animal handling experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills required.
• Serve as a lead to the Animal Assistance Team, providing direction and support.
• Assist with training and development of new employees and volunteers.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily operations of the Animal Assistance Department.
• Assist with training and development of new employees and volunteers.
• Provide hands-on support with departmental duties as needed.
• Foster a positive and compassionate customer experience.
• Address staff concerns and resolve customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
• Create and maintain employee schedules and task assignments for adequate coverage.
