Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking a Director of Commercial Management to oversee commercial risk management and profitability across EPC and related contracts. The role collaborates with business development, legal, and project teams to shape contracts, manage changes, and mitigate liabilities, while aligning with the Deal Architecture Process.

Responsibilities include leading contract negotiations with customers and partners, developing robust commercial processes, and reporting progress to Executive

Qualifications

• 10+ years of large EPC project experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication in an international team.
• Proven negotiation skills and successes.
• Knowledge of EPC contracting strategies, document management, scheduling, and cost management.
• Contract and change management experience.
• Minimum 5 years field project management on large EPC projects.
• Ability to work independently in a matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically.
• Proactive ownership of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and negotiation of contracts with customers and partners, including risk assessments.
• Collaborate with business development, legal, proposals leadership, project leadership and other teams.
• Develop and negotiate customer and partner contracts with robust change management processes.
• Work with Legal/Risk, Accounting, JV Administration, Estimating and Contract Management to advance Zachry's interests.
• Provide reports on negotiation progress to Executive Management via Deal Architecture governance.
