Job summary

Confidential Employer in Ladson, SC is seeking a seasoned commercial roofing service leader to build and lead a growing service division. You will recruit and develop field crews, manage daily operations, and drive profitability and customer relationships.

With 5+ years of experience, you will diagnose issues, develop profitable repair proposals, and scale the department for long-term growth while ensuring safety and quality across the service operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing service experience with field crew leadership.
• Proven ability to build and grow commercial roofing service teams.
• Experience with TPO, PVC, EPDM, built-up roofing, and roof coatings.

Responsibilities

• Build, recruit, train, and lead high-performing commercial roofing service crews.
• Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, dispatch, quality control, and safety.
• Diagnose commercial roofing issues and develop accurate, profitable repair and maintenance proposals.
• Manage departmental budgets, job costing, labor productivity, and gross margins.
• Strengthen commercial customer relationships and identify opportunities for recurring maintenance contracts.
• Partner with sales and administrative teams to expand service revenue and operational efficiency.
• Improve service processes, implement best practices, and scale the department for long-term growth.

• Understanding of job costing, labor productivity, gross margins, and service department profitability.
• OSHA 30 certification and valid driver's license required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
