Job summary

VML seeks a Director of Commerce Strategy to lead strategic output for client partners, bridging high-level business transformation with rigorous execution. You will mentor the next generation of strategists and ensure bold, commercially grounded provocation.

You will own the strategic agenda across client portfolios, translate insights into actionable plans, and collaborate with Creative and Media teams to drive measurable growth in omnichannel commerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in omnichannel retail strategy, engagement marketing, or a related field.
• Experience with channel and communications planning across physical and digital/ecommerce channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic work for client portfolio and senior stakeholders.
• Develop retail and engagement strategies across in-store, online, social, and email.
• Mentor strategy team and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with Creative and Media teams to connect strategy to commerce results.
