CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Director of Engineering for the Cloud Detection Platform, remote in the USA.

You will own the strategy and architecture for detection engines and the content delivery infrastructure, leading multiple teams and engineering managers to deliver scalable, reliable content for thousands of endpoints. You'll drive SLOs, capacity planning, and cost optimization while coordinating with product, data, and content teams to meet roadmap commitments and maintain

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to manage SLOs, capacity planning, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Cloud Detection Platform.
• Lead and grow an organization of managers and senior engineers across multiple teams.
• Be accountable for reliability, latency, and cost of detection at fleet scale.
• Drive evolution toward a unified multi-engine detection architecture.
• Partner with detection engineering, content, product management, and data platform teams.
• Build guardrails for safe shipping: pre-release validation and staged deployment.
• Anticipate escalations, manage cross-team dependencies, and represent the platform.
• Drive annual operating plan and organizational planning for your area.
