Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Cloud Detection Platform team, overseeing detection engines and the content delivery infrastructure at scale. You will manage multiple teams of managers and senior engineers, shaping strategy, architecture, and roadmaps while ensuring reliability, latency, and cost targets across the Falcon fleet.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years managing engineering teams and 2+ years managing managers.
• Experience owning large-scale distributed systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Cloud Detection Platform.
• Lead and grow an organization of managers and senior engineers.
• Be accountable for reliability, latency, and cost of detection rule execution at fleet scale.
• Drive evolution toward a unified multi-engine detection architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize roadmap commitments.
• Build guardrails for safe shipping of detection content.
