CrowdStrike is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Cloud Detection Platform. You will oversee cloud detection engines (scheduled, real-time, retrospective) and the content delivery infrastructure, enabling engineers to author, test, and deploy detection content safely across the Falcon fleet.

You will drive strategy, architecture, and cross-team partnerships, ensuring reliability, latency, and cost targets while shaping talent and culture aligned with CrowdStrike's AI-driven security

Formación

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of delivering large-scale distributed systems.
• 5+ years in engineering management and 2+ years managing managers.
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to influence direction and tradeoffs.
• Experience with customer-facing services, SLOs, and cost management.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making and workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Own the multi-year strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Cloud Detection Platform.
• Lead and grow an organization of managers and senior engineers across multiple teams.
• Be accountable for reliability, latency, and cost of detection at fleet scale (SLOs, capacity, quotas, and COGS).
• Drive evolution toward a unified multi-engine detection architecture across scheduled, real-time, and retrospective execution.
• Collaborate with detection engineering, content, product, and data platform teams to deliver roadmap commitments.
• Build guardrails for safe content shipping: pre-release validation, staged deployment, rollback, and end-to-end testing.
• Represent the platform in architecture and planning forums and manage cross-team dependencies.
