Job summary

Electronic Caregiver, Inc. seeks a Director of Clinical Support & Operations to provide strategic leadership for clinical support functions and to optimize communications among patients, MAs, nurses, and care team members.

The role oversees the MA team, ensures appropriate documentation and routing of patient requests, and partners with Nursing leadership to maintain efficient workflows and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading clinical support or operations in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to develop workflows that protect nursing capacity and improve patient access.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
• Proven track record in staffing, training, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for clinical support and MA teams.
• Oversee MA frontline support for nursing department and call handling.
• Develop and maintain workflows, handoffs, escalation, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to align with organizational goals and standards.
• Establish onboarding and competency programs for MAs and staff.
• Develop, monitor, and report KPIs related to call volume, routing, and quality.
• Plan staffing models based on call volume and organizational growth.
• Act as liaison between clinical support and nursing leadership; drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Continuously optimize processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
