Legacy Healthcare in Milwaukee is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Operations (DCO) to lead the skilled nursing facility's clinical operations and resident care.

The DCO partners with the DON and leadership to mentor nursing staff, oversee regulatory readiness and quality improvement, and ensure high standards of patient care within a single building.

This role focuses on hands-on clinical oversight with potential growth into regional leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations and resident care in partnership with the DON and facility leadership.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing leadership and staff.
• Support the DON with day-to-day clinical operations, priorities, and accountability.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, quality measures, and nursing metrics.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans.
• Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness, including state and federal surveys.
• Assist with plans of correction and follow-up on identified deficiencies.
• Provide guidance on nursing standards of practice, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in Quality initiatives.
