Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Director of IT Clinical Systems Integration to lead clinical systems strategy and governance. You will own optimization, lifecycle management, Epic changes, and cross-team collaborations to ensure scalable, interoperable solutions.

The role requires deep healthcare IT expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to align technical delivery with business goals, while maintaining regulatory compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent (4 years) relevant experience may be accepted in place of a bachelor's degree.
• 12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with 7+ years in healthcare IT.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing multiple cross-functional technical teams and influencing senior management.
• Advanced knowledge of SDLC, QA, project management, and related disciplines.
• Deep expertise in integration platforms (HL7, FHIR, API) and integration engines (Bridges, Rhapsody, Mirth, Cloverleaf).
• Extensive experience with Epic applications, including upgrades and optimization programs.
• Understanding of Applications, Databases, IT Operations, Virtualization, and SOA.

• Provide strategic leadership for Hackensack Meridian Health's clinical systems integration.
• Oversee system optimization, lifecycle management, Epic changes, and interoperability initiatives.
• Foster partnerships across clinical, operations, and IT teams and drive risk mitigation.
• Guide technical and business resources to successful program delivery and governance.
