Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. seeks a Director of New Business Intake to lead client and matter onboarding, maintenance, and closure. You will own Intapp Open, set service standards, and drive process improvements for efficiency and risk management.

In collaboration with attorneys and business teams, you will establish governance, optimize workflows, and ensure high-quality data across intake, conflicts, and billing data. A strong leadership track record and expertise in legal operations are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in new business intake, conflicts, risk management, or legal operations.
• 5+ years of people leadership, managing managers or multi-level teams.
• Strong knowledge of client/matter intake, conflicts, engagement requirements, and data impact on billing and reporting.
• Experience with Intapp Open or similar intake platforms (workflow/configuration).
• Proficiency with Outlook and Excel for data validation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute intake strategy and operating model for client/matter onboarding and closure.
• Establish governance, controls, and escalation processes across intake and risk review.
• Lead data integrity, service delivery, and intake experience improvements.
• Oversee end-to-end intake lifecycle including onboarding, approvals, and matter closure.
• Manage conflicts, risk, and compliance processes and documentation.
• Provide leadership for analytics, reporting, and performance metrics.
