Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Director of New Business Intake to lead client and matter onboarding, conflicts, risk, and data governance. You will own Intapp Open, define service levels, and drive process improvements to ensure accurate intake and efficient opening of matters.

Collaborate with Finance, Billing, and Case Management; manage a high-volume team; develop metrics, dashboards, and training to maintain data quality and risk controls across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree, law degree, MBA, or relevant professional certification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in new business intake, conflicts, risk management, legal operations, or comparable professional services.
• 5+ years of people-leadership experience with managers or multi-level teams.
• Strong knowledge of law-firm client and matter intake, conflicts processes, engagement requirements, and master data impacts.
• Advanced working knowledge of Intapp Open or similar NBI platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, governance, and service delivery for client/matter intake and onboarding.
• Establish controls, escalation protocols, and data integrity across intake and risk review.
• Direct end-to-end intake lifecycle, including onboarding, approvals, and matter closure.
• Partner with Finance, Billing, Pricing, Case Management, and others to enable efficient matter setup.
• Oversee data governance, analytics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
