Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. seeks a Director of New Business Intake in the New York metro area to lead client and matter onboarding, maintenance, and closure.

You will own Intapp Open, drive governance, and optimize workflows across intake, conflicts, risk review, and matter opening. The role requires 10+ years in intake/risk management and 5+ years of people leadership, with a focus on data integrity, process efficiency, and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree, MBA, or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in new business intake, conflicts, risk management, or comparable environment.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience overseeing managers or multi-level teams.
• Strong knowledge of intake processes, conflicts, engagement requirements, and master data implications.
• Advanced working knowledge of Intapp Open or comparable NBI platform; workflow configuration and reporting.
• Proficiency with Excel and Outlook for organizing, validating, analyzing, and communicating data.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, governance, and service delivery for client and matter intake.
• Direct end-to-end intake lifecycle, including onboarding, maintenance, approvals, and closure.
• Partner with Conflicts Counsel and GCs to support risk management and compliance.
• Own data governance, analytics, and process improvements for intake workflows.
• Lead team development, stakeholder management, and training on intake processes and systems.
• Establish service levels, dashboards, and executive reporting for intake operations.
