Job summary

The New York Racing Association (NYRA) is seeking a Manager, Cleaning to lead cleaning operations across Belmont Park and Saratoga facilities. You will supervise the cleaning staff, coordinate efforts across facilities, ensure quality assurance, and manage supplies and equipment to maintain top-tier cleanliness in public and private areas.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of management experience in cleaning or facilities, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education or work experience.
• 5–7 years of management experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities management.
• Self-starter with goal orientation; hands-on management style; knowledge of cleaning procedures and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct cleaning supervisors and staff to ensure areas are clean and well maintained.
• Coordinate work among supervisors for NYRA facilities in racing and housing.
• Ensure QA measures are met; review staffing to meet guest service and financial objectives.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and uniforms; communicate areas needing attention and follow up.
• Oversee OSHA compliance and safety protocols; manage schedule and labor relations; handle procurement and budgets.
