Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking an Operations Director to maximize the shopping experience at the center. You will oversee all maintenance, grounds, and custodial teams, manage capital projects, and ensure safety and asset protection.

A strong emphasis on budgeting, vendor management, and adherence to Simon standards will be key. The role includes leadership of maintenance staff, coordination with contractors, and ensuring a safe, clean, and customer-friendly environment at Brea Mall.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of prior Operations, Facilities or Property Management experience.
• Working knowledge of maintenance and operational functions strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints, CAD drawings and other schematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop 5-year capital plan to maintain and enhance property assets.
• Oversees Preventative Maintenance and record keeping.
• Ensures safety systems are up to code, maintained and inspected.
• Conduct daily walks to ensure assets are in operating condition and respond to issues.
